Needs an accurate description April 19, 2008 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
The picture for this item is misleading. I bought this item in April 2008 so this review is accurate as of then.
From the battery (4 in the pack):
Duracell Rechargeable 2650mAh AA/HR6/DC1500 NiMH/1,2V Standard charge 270mA for 16h/Check polarity/Made in Japan
From the packaging:
AA/HR6/DC1500 Duracell Rechargeable 2650mAh "100's of photos per charge" NiMH Battery
So far the batteries are working fine in my Fuji FinePix 2600Z and my Logitech MX-700 mouse. I'll edit this review if that changes.
Rechargeable Batteries February 8, 2008 Bought the rechargeables for my son's Leapster game which eats batteries like crazy. Have had no problem with them at all. Kelly ;-)
Excellent Battery, long charge........ January 9, 2008 I have a Nikon D200 and sb600 flash, I do sports photography and a lot of it is go kart racing at night. I have to push my flash to the limit and use the highest setting possible. These batteries are great and last for a long time. Do they last for 500 pictures, not hardly when you use them like I do. But I hardly doubt that the "500 photos" on the package are aimed for consumers like me. In a small digital camera possible. One thing that will make these batteries end up being recycled themselves is using a super high powered charger (or leaving them in devices). I thought purchasing the 15 minute charger with the car adapter would be good cause I'm on the road a lot and instead of purchasing more batteries just recharge the ones I've got. Bad idea. Stick with the 4-6 hour charger and only use the fast chargers in read dire need. They drain the life out of your batteries and fast.
Duracell, the battery of choice May 13, 2007 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The Duracell's 2650 mAh rechargeables were introduced to me only 2 months prior to my purchase. I am yet to see how long the recharge life will be.
DURACELL has never disappointed me so far and I dont have any reason to think they would start now.
NiMH 1800mAh rechargeable Duracell batteries January 9, 2007 The batteries arrived with in a few days and were partially charged. They are used for back up power source for a digital camera and seem to work very well. Duracell seems to be a brand that can be relied on.
