I have to admit the case is crap and I chucked it, got a better softer one. The price was so good on this kit that it was worth it just for the battery!
It is important to have a good backup battery ready to go, save my butt a few times.

Deal is good b'coz in $20 u get battry of worth $35 with camara case however Quality of case is pathetic.. its bad.....
 Sony Digital Camera Case June 27, 2007
I got a good deal from Amazon.com. The price I paid was almost an half of listed price on Sony official web site. I never shopped at Amazon .com before. Now I will.
I am little disappointed with the product. The camera case is too hard and bulky. I like the camera because it is very thin. What is the point you carry thin camera in the bulky case.

 Worth it, if only for the battery November 4, 2006
The extra battery is a good thing as the my T5 does not get normal AAA batteries.
The case looks and feels nice. Yet, especially with my T5, whenever I take it out or in, the shooting mode switch of the camera changes position because the leather case is quite tough. I'm afraid it can damage my camera so now I'm really careful when using the case and specifically look for the switch not to touch the case.
Other than that, the case is great. Very good protection against scratches.
