SanDisk CF Type I/II ImageMate USB 2.0 Reader/Writer (Model SDDR-92-A15) is a great addition to my Marantz PDM 670 Audio Flash Field Recorder.It goes with me in my kit bag to interviews.After storing the audio on the CF card,it the quickest way to download to a pc for engineering and editing.I would recommend this item as Sandisk makes the best flash memory and readers.
Simple and inexpensive December 14, 2008
I purchased this product to simplify the transfer of music files onto a CF card that I use in my Honda Civic. At first I was transfering the files through a printer but transfering 6GB of music took over 10 hours!!! I got this and decreased the transfer time to approximatly 45 minutes. I am currently running Windows Vista and like some of the other reviewers skipped the step where it says load the driver, and just plugged it in. It was recognized right away and works beautifly I highly recommend this product to anyone who still uses CF cards.

I put off purchasing a card reader - didn't see a need for it. I would not want to be without it now. Simple to use... Highly recommend this!

After buying several cheaper card readers (all of which either did not work or failed in a few weeks) I purchased the SanDisk ImageMate CF Reader. I use it on an IMac G5. No software was needed. It works flawlessly every time. I highly recommend this product. I have a semi-professional photographer friend who has had a similar wonderful experience.
