I use my camera for photographing industrial equipment so the extra protection help to keep the camera from nicks and dirt/grease. It is a good investment for me as I don't get the lastest camera every year. No need to when this one dones the job just fine.

I had bought one of these for my 40D and it didn't fit as tight as I thought it should. I then bought this model for my 2 year old Rebel and it fits great. Nice and snug. Also makes the body a little larger. Switching back and forth from the 40D to my Rebel you really notice the size difference between camera bodies, but this cover helps make the Rebel body feel a little more substantial in your hands. Very happy overall with this purchase, and you can't go wrong with Amazon.
