Product Description
Sunpak's Twin Pack combines the two most popular filters: Ultra Violet & Circular Polarizer. The Ultra Violet (UV) filter absorbs ultraviolet rays which often makes outdoor photographs hazy and indistinct. A muliti-purpose fine-weather filter for color as well as black and white films, it eliminates haze and serves as a lens protector. Light rays which are reflected by any surface become polarised. The Circular Polariser filter is used to select which light rays enter your camara lens. They allow you to remove unwanted reflections from non-metallic surfaces such as water, glass etc. They also saturate colors and increase contrast creating dramatic sky/cloud contrast. Increases contrast equally well with black & white film.

Cannot find any defect. Works as expected. Excellent value. In my opinion, quality surpassed the over priced Tiffen filters.

This is the first time I have used a UV and a polarizing filter, so I can't make comparisons. The filters screw easily on to the lens and the sun-shade lens cover of my Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50. The polarizing filter is easy to turn and noticeable color and light shades are most apparent when focusing on snow or water. For the price, they are worth it.

The threaded section of the filter is too short. If your lens or filter adapter has threads that are recessed by more than 1/16 of an inch, this filter can't be securely fastened. Other than that, the quality of the filters is ok.

They were exactly what I ordered. I'd say more, but they were a gift for my friend, so I can't comment on the usefullness to him or whatever... they seemed to be of the same quality as the one's at my local camera store, but far less in price, which, last time I checked was a good thing. And thus, my rating of 5 stars.
