Great quality! A must have. August 26, 2008 This B&W 72mm UV glass filter is a must have. B&W makes high quality filters. Provides great protection for my Canon 28-135mm lens attached to a Canon 40d. It does not affect the quality of my photos. Attaching the lens cap w/ the filter is no problem. Very snug fit. Worth the extra cost. Don't settle for the cheaper filters. Multi-coated glass filters are the way to go. Hope this helps.
Glenfiddich_Man August 18, 2008 I don't take my lens out without it. Great product. I actually keep an extra around just in case.
great filter th June 28, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
These filters are well made. I have a few of them on a variety of lenses and they function perfectly. I notice no degradation of image. They are expensive but worth it for good photos and lens protection.
Very good. June 26, 2008 We are very happy with this product. It was shipped quickly, was safely packed, and we are happy with the filter.
Not so great haze reduction in sunny skies May 21, 2008 0 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have been using this filter for all my aviation photography and to be honest I am not impressed. On sunny days the haze from pollution in the north eastern US is noticeable whether I use the filter or not. Subjects (airplanes in this example) have to be really close or, alternatively, at just the right angle, for pictures to some out reasonably sharp. The filter is of excellent build quality though.
