Nice lens. It is not very big in size, mas it makes the camera more unbalanced.

I am very pleased with my lens the sharpness is very good. I am able to crop to half size or less and still print 11 X 14's with fine detail.
A tripod or a unipod is a must.

I purchaed this as a wedding gift for my sister and new husband who are active amateur nature photographers. They have tried other brands of lenses of this smae nature but have never been as satisfied with the Sony. Highly recommended by them to the Amazon community.

Have been pleased with results using the tele lens. I especially like to photograph birds which it captures well. The only drawback is remembering to change the setting on camera 2 to this lens each time you use it.
I would buy this product again as it makes the Sony digital camera even more versatile.
