With both a 30mm wide-angle Leica DC Vario-Elmar lens and a 5x zoom, this is one camera that does it all. This is my first digicam and so I'm a novice and loving this camera. At it's easiest, you can trust Intelligent Auto Mode to take a great picture most of the time. But it's also very user-friendly and I'm quickly learning to go beyond the basic settings and play with other modes, functions and settings. The shots are great quality and look fabulous online or printed. The instruction manual is very easy to follow and learn from when you are ready to get into some more advanced operations. I would highly recommend this camera as a tool for beginners that are interested in starting with something not overly complicated, but that also offers the capacity to learn and grow.

La camara actualmente esta en Mérida Venezuela, tiene una resolucion excelente, es comoda y super sencilla de utilizar... Todavia la estoy probando, porque tiene muchos detalles y opciones... El estabilizador de imagenes, toda toda es genial. Yo le compre una memoria de 4Gb y la capacidad de fotos es super. Si quieres comprar una camara te la recomiendo 100%... Saludos Marta

I have been using this camera for a few months now and I am very happy with it. The pictures it takes are amazing and in good light they look just as good as my friends Cannon DSLR, in low light his wins out but for the $800 difference I think I got a good deal.

I bought 2 of this model for my department at work. I loved them so much, I bought one for home, just in a different color. Easy to use, great photos that enlarge easily, and clearly. Great buy!
