The lens coating filters the blue colors so common in underwater environments and enhances the lush red and yellow colors of various aquatic creatures. The filter also reduces backscatter, a phenomenon in which the flash reflects off small particles in the water, creating white dots in the picture. The macro lens snaps on easily to any Sealife camera and also comes with a quick-release snap hook that attaches to the camera body.
