This bracket does not require the use of a cable release. The Press-T is a slightly shorter and more compact version of the Pro-T. Other details include an integral quick-release (QR) plate that mates to an optional QR receiver for quick tripod mounting, full compatibility with accessory battery packs or motor drives, and a nominal lens-to-flash distance of 10 inches.
