Product Description The Galileo G-840WA features 40mm objective lenses and brings images 8 times closer to you than the naked eye. The G-840WA Galileo Series binocular features BAK-4 prisms, fully multi-coated optics and a Wide Angle design increasing the Field of View (FOV) to 473?!, allowing you to get up close and still see it all. The prisms are positioned in a Porro prism design affording them increased depth perception over other binocular designs. Additionally the G-840WA features fully multi-coated optics for improved glare reduction and further increased contrast & clarity, water resistant comfort grip rubber armoring, full range center focus and binocular tripod socket. The G-840WA also features ergonomic fold down rubber eye guards that block out stray light that would disrupt the image produced by the binocular and also increase viewing comfort. Included with the Galileo G-840WA is the Galileo deluxe carrying case, comfortable Neoprene neck strap, lens cloth and protective eye caps. Designed for years of use all Galileo binoculars come with a limited lifetime warranty which covers the binoculars against defects in material or workmanship for the life of the purchaser.
The Galileo G-840WA features fully multi-coated optics for improved glare reduction and further increased contrast & clarity, a 5mm Exit Pupil and exhibits a minimum focusing distance of 18?. Linear Field of View is 473? at 1000yds and Angular Field of View is 9°. The Relative Brightness Index (RBI) is 25 and the Twilight Factor is 17.89. Interpupillary Distance (IPD) ranges from 59mm to 73mm and Eye Relief is approximately 12mm - 14mm.

| Customer Reviews: Great for the price! January 25, 2008 Brian Broussard (Baton Rouge, LA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've had the same binoculars for over fifteen years and I finally needed to get a new one. I was a little apprehensive about buying online, without looking through the binoculars first. I use my binoculars mostly for watching football games, and these are clearer and more crisp than anything I have looked through before. Especially if you are using these for watching moving sports, the wide angle lens will keep you from getting motion sick from having to move all of the time. I would definitely recommend these binoculars!
