Great all-around lens for the price! June 20, 2010 Nathan Kam (Hawaii) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I've been wanting to upgrade to a more versatile lens for my Canon EOS Rebel T1i that offers all-purpose shooting...wide and telephoto. I took a chance with this Tamron lens and am very pleased with its performance. Picture quality has been great and the range from 18-200 mm was just was I was looking for. The price was right on this one and I'm glad I made the purchase. You can find a few photos on my blog: [...]
Tamron Lens Rocks June 4, 2010 Sethu Manalan (Texas, USa) Tamron AF 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 XR Di II LD Aspherical (IF) Macro Zoom Lens for Canon Digital SLR Cameras
This has been my long cherished desire to own a powerful Zoom lens. After doing lots of research and comparing different makes of Canon Compatible SLR lenses, I found Tamoron 18-200mm to be the one, that had all the features I was looking for. This being a multi-pupose Zoom lens, it saves you from the trouble of carrying different lense for various photography needs. I have been using this for less than a month and have captured some real good pictures. I would recommend all LSR owners to give a consideration for Tamaron Lens, if they are planning to buy a Zoom lens at a comptetitve rate...!!!
Excellent lens May 29, 2010 J. Kelley I've really enjoyed this lens so far. It's performed very well and is a very versatile lens. A good option if you can't afford the more expensive options. Tamron also handled the rebate very quickly, well ahead of the time frames tey mentioned.
Great Travel Lens May 13, 2010 T. Friesen (MB, Canada) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great travel lens with plenty of versatility. The quality is far from USM glass obviously but for the money and peace of mind knowing how much it costs, you dont have to worry about losing it or getting it stolen. The quality is acceptable and is pretty good for what it is. I would say the photo quality is slightly better then the Canon 18-55mm IS kit lens.
