The Alta+ 255CT from Vanguard is a carbon fiber tripod leg set that can hold a maximum load of 8.8 lbs. Its total weight is only 2.56 lbs. Some of its other features are: dust and waterproof leg locks, anti-shock ring to prevent damage to your camera, and large foam grips for all-weather use. It is perfect for macro photography and its rubber feet can be retracted to expose spikes for rough terrain. In addition, the legs can be adjusted individually to three different angles to better stabilize itself on uneven ground.
