The Olympus E-P1 is an evolutionary step in digital cameras that's really revolutionary. The key point that distinguished a point-and-shoot camera from an SLR was that the SLR could interchange lenses. Now the E-P1 can change lenses but is significantly smaller than an SLR because the viewfinder is replaced by a large 3-inch LCD screen. 12.3 Megapixels deliver up to 4032 x 3024 pixel still resolution. This camera also lets you take movies to. Another Olympus evolution is the use of SDHC memory cards for memory storage. So, by definition and performance, this is an SLR. By size and ease-of-use, it's a point-and-shoot. This is the Edge that digital photography has been bracing for and is ready for you.

Okay, it's been said it's too slow. But I can't find any camera, this cute, this price and quality on the market.
It truly takes beautiful photos. I love it every day. If you are not professional photographer and not trying to capture wild bird activity,
this camera do a wonderful job.
