Excellent, Spacy and Comfortable July 30, 2010 MgBirder I just bought this bag to use with my new Pentax K-7, it holds all my gear (body and kit-lens with hood attached in the main compartment, or body and 55-300mm lens with hood reversed; the corresponding extra lens, an 50mm prime lens and a Teleconverter in the extra pouch, and filters in the small compartment underneath). It feels very comfortable when carrying and is very solidly build. The hammoc system for the body and lens in the main compartment is very usefull to take care of the lens, because it never touches the ground. And another plus: it is not obvious that you have a camera in there, it just looks like a normal sling bag!!
Easy, comfortable, light July 24, 2010 JonoK If you only plan on carrying 2 lenses, this is the bag for you. The straps are very comfortable. The bag is easy to maneuver and there are just enough compartments. There is a neoprene suspension for your camera inside that keeps it from jarring violently or knocking the lens that is still on the camera back and forth. Has an extra strap that comes around from the bottom of the other side just in case you're going to be a little more active and have to run or climb. I also love the fact that the bag has a tripod holder on the outside of the bag for when I want to carry one to a location.
love this camera bag July 13, 2010 Faith I have a Canon 50D. I first used this bag on a camping trip and I love it. I like being able to swing the bag around to reach my camera vs a back pack style that you have to take off and put back on to get at your camera. I put my camera away more vs having it around my neck all of the time b/c it is so easy to get to now. And I don't like the lunchbox style bag b/c that only leaves you w/ 1 free hand, or if you hang it over your shoulder it throws your posture off which is not good for your spine. I also like the fact that the bag doesn't scream "I'm a camera bag" so people don't necessarily have an idea that you have something very valuable inside.
Great bags for a body and 2-3 smaller lenses July 11, 2010 my_reviews_amazon (USA) I have an XSi body, kit lens, 50mm lens and a 55-200mm lens that all fit into this bag nicely. This is on top of my wallet, phone, camera manual, keys and other random things I also carry in this bag. The only negative thing I can say about this bag is that sometimes the zipper is hard to move at certain angles, but I can overlook this since the rest of the bag is very functional.
Better than Lowepro's 100AW June 28, 2010 Levi I bought the Lowepro 100AW for my Nikon D60 with its kit lense and a 50mm f/1.8. The lowepro, although it looks pretty good, I thought it was pretty uncomfortable. it felt like there is a small box hanging on my back, it just didnt feel right. When I looked around for other slings, I found this almost by accident. Off the bat, to me it looked really good. also it looks like a regular book bag so noone has to know I am carrying a camera. So I decided to return the Lowepro and get this instead. The pics and vids online does not do justice. I was really satisfied with its external appearance. It's materials seems fancier than on the Lowepro's also. The main compartment has a foam suspension system that elivates the camera. On the lowepro there are dividers but the caselogic doesnt (and it doesnt need it). There are 5 pockets on the slrc 205 (including the main compartment). The top compartment can fit my d60 (body only) with the kit lense detached. the velcro on the front to hold a tripod seems very secure. it has 2 pockets: on the bottom and on the strap.
the only difficult part on this is tucking away the camera strap, which a problem I experienced on the lowepro also. but the slrc has enough room to tuck in on the left or right side of the camera.
Overall I am really happy with the purchase and am glad I switched.
