As an American Serviceman in Iraq, I ordered this camera for its durability. It survives frequent and often unavoidable drops and its waerproof capabilities help it withstand the dust storms. It takes fantastic photos for a point and shoot style camera, and is extremely user friendly for those with little knowledge of photography. I recommend this camera for anyone who is looking at deploying or is currently deployed, or anyone with a need for a camera that can take a bit of a beating.
