Wonderful June 18, 2008 I have had these speakers for a while, and they are wonderful! They get extremely loud for the size and are very portable. The sound quality and such is great, and it is very durable-if it can withstand 8 hours in a hot/sunny nursery, then it is considered durable to me. The only two drawbacks were that the remote didn't work all that well(which wasn't that big of a problem) and the speakers seemed to shorten my battery life of the player itself. After using the speakers, my Zen's battery began to last only 4-7 hours instead of it's normal 10-12+.
Good product, excellent price June 5, 2008 My daugther is very happy with her speakers. She use it every day and right now she doesn't have to connect her mp3 to the computer to charge it. This product is very good when you travel for the size.
Great product, but not what was advertised February 9, 2008 The product was improperly advertised - it was listed as the TravelDock, but that turned out to be incorrect. It was no longer manufactured and was unavailable. What I received was the TravelDock 900 which I did not want and had to return. Amazon was advertising one thing, and providing something else entirely. I ended up finding the TravelDock through another vendor and I'm very happy with it. So the product is great, but Amazon failed miserably on this one. The TravelDock works great with the zen, gives good sound for the size and does everything it's supposed to.
Not Bad December 27, 2007 I recently puchased this from the manufacturer. I am very impressed with the way it sounds for something portable. Works well inside a home. Not too bad outside with very little background noise. Love the portability. Do not like the fact that I have to manually turn off my Zen after hitting the power button on the unit. Additionally, be careful plugging your Zen into this. Four stars....
Quirky design. Take a close look. November 22, 2007 Decent enough sound for its size (what would you expect from something this small and portable), but the lid opens and closes in a non-intuitive way. Getting the lid to prop open and hold the speakers upright requires some attention. It's a good solution if you're committed to the Zen Micro (after all, it's designed JUST FOR this product), but I would have been happy to find a product that was a bit more user-friendly in its design. Take a close look at the photos and you'll probably see what i mean.
