 Chargers both work great July 11, 2008
The chargers both work great. They charge both my Creative Zen V and my Tom Tom GPS extremely well and pretty quickly.

My parents had bought me a charger for my Creative Zen V Plus for Christmas. Problem is, they go it at Best Buy. They asked the guy several times if he was sure, because the only thing it said on the package was iPod. They were right, it was wrong.
I searched Amazon and found this one. I was a bit leery for two reasons: We'd been burned once and it wasn't shipping directly from Amazon. But it's great. It got here much faster than I expected and it worked straight away. Plus it allows my Zen to charge much faster than through the computer.

Car / Auto and Wall / AC Essential Charger Kit w/ Tip Exchange for the Creative Zen V Plus - Gomadic BrandCar / Auto and Wall / AC Essential Charger Kit w/ Tip Exchange for the Creative Zen V Plus - Gomadic Brand Auto charger worked fine but AC charger may have toasted my Zen V player. My player quit working seconds after I plugged it in to the AC charger. When I tried to contact Gomadic they did not respond which makes me wonder if they are trying to avoid disclosing a defect in their product. I will not use that brand again.

The chargers works great, fast charge time <2 hours! I bought some extra tips and now I carry less chargers with me on my business trip. One charger for both my Zen and phone thanks to the TipExchange system.

I do have a Zen V Plus too and I notice that on the pictures shown they're connecting the charger at the center of the player where the earphones go! Looking at the other pictures I do not see USB connector it looks more like a connector for a cellphone
