Mostly works as advertised March 21, 2007
From reading reviews of cases, even if you do get a hard or soft case, it's still possible for dirt to get in and cause scratches. So I decided to get these regardless.
It was a little puzzling at first, but after I realized that there were two backings for each piece, application was easy. Well, sort of. Any speck of dust that has latched on to the sticky side will show up during the application, and it's impossible to wash them off per the instructions. However, I did manage to clean off the specks using scotch tape.
The pieces don't adhere completely around the edges, because of the stiffness of the material and the curve of the Zen, so I suppose some dirt may still get trapped there. But the main area of the keypad and screen are now safe - I hope.
