I almost bought a variety of accesories, that would have cost me more, to do what I needed, but this station does it all. Definitely recommend this in place of the A/V cable that is so difficult to find.

This works very well and was well worth the purchase price. I was very thankful to find it at Amazon after contacting Sony to get told they were no longer being made and none were available fron Sony. Thank you Amazon
Easy and charging for camera and connecting to computer January 8, 2007
This is the easiest way to do all the charging and connecting I could have imagined. Highly recommend to anyone with this camera.

This is my second review for this item. I'm giving it one star only because I still have not opened it in hopes to return it. However, this is one of those items that Amazon displays your getting from Amazon but somehow when you buy it your puchasing from another store???? and therefore you can't return it...Yes it's my fault I got a little trigger happy and purchased the wrong item but still...I'm a deployed soldier overseas and it sucked having to purchase this item and waiting 6 weeks to get where i'm at because it only delivered to USA and not APO (which is still USA)...but also having to sell the item back on amazon or preferably on ebay really sucks! That's why i always need to stick with ebay...it ships everywhere!

One of my three dogs chewed the cable that came with the camera. in looking for a replacement I found this and it solved my problem. I'm not sure why it has a remote but it does what I need it to do.
