Simple but effective May 8, 2008
Carrying a tripod with me wasn't always an option. After I started shooting infrared I never wanted to be without one. But I needed to find a way to carry it without getting in the way and it had to be comfortable. There are many options out there for straps but this one, I think is the best. It took a few minute to figure out how to put it on, but once in place I was so happy I got it. It attaches securely to the tripod and the quick release is good if I needed it off in a hurry. The best part about it... the strap is a soft, flexible material. And one side of it is covered in large half inch square air pockets. This strap is so comfortable, I've hiked for miles with my gear and my tripod doesn't bother me a bit. And I never have to worry about missing an opportunity because I didn't feel like dragging alone the tripod, you almost forget it's there... till you need it.
