32gb of flash memory at class 6 specifications will cost you nearly double what a class 4 card of the same size will. The PNY 32GB Class 4 card is a good example. What you're paying for with this card is the ability to process data faster, both reading and writing. That is critical for most high end digital cameras, like the Nikon D700 that employ 'burst' photography (many frames captured very quickly).
This is a bit of a niche product at the moment. Those using an SDHC card to augment their computer storage will likely not care about or need class 6 capabilities. Right now, professional photographers might be the only folks to truly benefit from a card with these specifications. If you need class 6 speed but not the price tag to go with it, save some money and buy yourself two 16gb class six cards, or even 4 8gb cards.
