Product Description It may be Canon's slimmest Digital ELPH, but it's selection of photo-friendly options is undeniably wide. From full HD movie capture to peak performance in even the most unforgiving shooting conditions, this digital camera is on the cutting edge of point-and-shoot picture taking. One-year warranty. Great camera, horrible company July 31, 2010 DVyas This is a really great camera, but it is a really bad company. Canon is the worst company when it comes to getting anything repaired. When I got this camera, I noticed it had a dead pixel on the LCD. I sent it in to Canon, they sent it back not only with the dead pixel unrepaired, but they left dust between the protective screen film cover and the LCD. As a result I sent it to them a second time. When I got it back the second time, they did not fix either problem and they broke something inside the camera so a red spot kept appearing on the LCD when trying to take a picture or shoot video... I sent it in a third last week telling them to fix the problems they caused and to replace the LCD.
It returned today, they fixed the two problems they caused, but I still have the dead pixel.
The bottom line is Canon is a horrible company when it comes to repair service, if you get a defective LCD like I did, you are going to have to deal with it, because they will lie to you about trying to repair and do nothing.
Either Canon lacks integrity or their repair people are incompetent or both (probably both) and thus I have to poorly review their product, because if something else goes defective, I have no guaranteed they will be able to fix it.
Canon Camera July 30, 2010 Steve This camera is an amazing value for the money. Takes great pictures, easy to use, long battery life and easy to charge. Only caution is that the camera does not come with a memory card.

Could not recommend this product enough. For the money spent and what the camera is(a compact, pocket camera), it is outstanding. I purchased two of them and no complaints. One of the recent purchases got to go to Europe and preformed very well and made my wife very happy (picture taking nut). What more could you ask...
Aesthetically pleasing July 27, 2010 Gina 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
It's a nice camera. The picture quality is phenomenal. However, when I shoot pictures at night especially lights, the pictures come out blurry. The camera says that my hand is shaking (which it is not). I'm still an amateur when it comes to picture taking and dealing with camera technology so maybe it's something I did wrong. Perhaps I should read the manual and try out everything. But overall, the quality of the pictures is excellent and even made my friend who likes taking pictures very jealous.
A surprise delight. July 27, 2010 Sea Kayaker (Juneau, AK United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Took matching pictures with this little gem and my Nikon D90 using several different lens types. When compared side by side on a 25 inch monitor it was very difficult to tell the difference between the results of the two cameras. While the Nikon pictures were a bit sharper when the images were expanded, the quality of this camera's shots was quite impressive. In addition, it has virtually all of the manual features found on the Nikon. Very impressive for such a little device.
