It's sucks.............. October 25, 2005 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
What a horrible camera.....heavy, bulky, slow, I think the worst of all was the LCD, its dark, blurry, slow.....The pictures most of all are blurry..... And the battery die quickly....Dont let impress for the 5 MP...I had to sell it on ebay (almost as a gift, there are really other option.....
Camera Is Excellent. Read The Instructions and It works Fine January 25, 2005 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
I can't believe all the bad reviews!!!
Read the directions people! If you hold the button halfway down it focuses, and then you can take the picture instantly. If you just try to press and take it will take a few seconds for the photo to take.
I love this camera, it takes great pictures! I also did not notice the batteries dying quickly, maybe they left it on between photo's?
Great camera, sturdy! Love the short movie taking mode!
Gateway 5.0 megapixel camera September 22, 2004 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I agree that it is not on par with other "5 megapixel" cameras, but it was also much more affordable. The picture quality was crisp and easy to transfer to my computer. No need to buy a docking station or other peripheral hardware. If you're looking for an affordable camera on a budget, this does the trick.
Piece of junk! July 3, 2004 5 out of 9 found this review helpful
I bought this camera directly from Gateway. I, unfortunately, kept it too long to send it back. When I first received it, I took about 10 pictures. 8 of them were very grainy/blurry. From a 5MP camera, that's ridiculous. I assumed (fallaciously) that I simply was not using the camera correctly. My attempt to learn to use the camera 'properly' is what caused my delay in returning it, and forced me to sell it on eBay for significantly less than I paid for it. Don't buy this camera.
You get what you pay for! May 17, 2004 5 out of 9 found this review helpful
I thought this camera would be a great value for the amount of Mega-pixels. It isn't worth it. Issues: 1. Horrible lag from the moment you push the button to actual shutter movement. 2. The camera's body and telescoping lense feel CHEAP and poorly fitted. 3. I'm having memory card issues/errors that I haven't been able to solve yet. Save your money and get a recognized brand.
