 Lots of space and very fast January 3, 2009
I bought this card because my 4GB Sandisk Ultra didn't have enough space for me. I shoot in RAW plus JPEG, so I need a lot of space for that. This card is perfect for my needs and holds plenty of RAW and JPEG shots. It's also very fast when transferring my files to the computer. It works great and I've always had good experiences with SanDisk.
Definitely recommended if you shoot in RAW and need a larger memory card. The more memory, the better.

This memory card is awesome! It holds tons and tons of photos. It is indeed sturdy and it very much holds up to its reputation. I highly recommend this product to everyone. You'll never, ever regret it! You'll be so very glad you you made this choice.
Lots of room and very fast. December 29, 2008
I own 3 of these cards and have never been let down. They are very fast and can hold much more than I expected. I have only ever filled one once...around 1300 photos and about half of those were RAW + JPEG with the rest simply JPEG.
When I purchased I was debating between a couple 8 GB, a 16 GB or multiple 4 GB cards. Ultimately this 8 GB card seemed the best value when you purchase 2-3...you get as much or more space than the 16 GB and you don't have to switch cards cards as much as a 4 GB or less.

The card is very fast to save images, making the camera the bottleneck in saving pictures. Loading images into the computer is noticeably faster than when using slower cards. If faster shooting or data transfer is important to you, this card will be beneficial.
Gtreat unit for photograpers December 24, 2008
Good product will write to camera in Raw format at good speed but then again I was using a Canon ProShot 1 which might not have fast writing capabilities but the card I have no problem using a Canon 40D. Service from the retailer was a little slow but then it's Xmas so I understand the delay.
