4GB Memory Card January 6, 2009 This memeory card does not work. It will not load up anything to any computer, it keeps wanting us to format the card. I have another moemory card from Transcend and I have the same problems with it as well. I am never buying that brand again. It doesnt work at all!!!
Works great - Fast January 6, 2009 Used in Panasonic Lumix DMC-FS5. Also used with cheap HD-SD adapter without problem.
The speed is great. I haven't clocked it but the camera said that it required 10mb/sec write speed to ensure that video would not suffer from dropped frames. Again I cannot give definitive numbers, but I recorded 5 min. of video stream without a hitch.
Special Note: I saw a few reviews where people were reporting defective units so I set the camera to multi-shot and filled the card with jpegs and video to ensure that it was functional.
This product didn`t work January 6, 2009 The computer tower didn`t recognize it. I blamed the computerr, but put another memory card in and it recognized it and worked fine. Please don`t publish this review.
It's just ok January 6, 2009 This memory card was very cheap, it had a hiccup when first used, it lost a few pictures. You get what you pay for I guess, and that is a cheap 4gig card. If you buy this card you should transfer your pictures to a computer quickly. Overall it's just good not great.
Transcend Ready Boost January 6, 2009 Both my son and I use this memory in different digital cameras. We both find it to be reliable and quite rapid - more rapid than some SanDisk memory we have. For the price, this is a good bargain in flash memory. However, make sure whatever device you are going to use this in will take SDHC memory. Most new equipment will but some older items may not.
